The Virginia CHC Leadership Institute

1:00 – 4:00 pm

The June 6th CHC Leadership Institute session will include three learning activities designed to help health centers optimize their strategies for a changing health system. First, Beth Bortz, President & CEO of the Virginia Center for Health Innovation, will present on the Virginia Health Innovation Plan. Second, Dr. Lilian Peake, Deputy Commissioner of Population Health with the Virginia Department of Health, will give an overview of the Virginia Plan for Well-Being. Third, Steve Horan and Caitlin Feller will facilitate a strategic discussion about the implications of these plans for health centers, with particular emphasis on the CHC value model. As a result of this program, participants will gain a better understanding of health reform in Virginia as well as practical ideas for refining their organizational strategies. Invited participants include clinical and management staff from Virginia health centers.
